What Patrono costs.

Setup and onboarding are free. You pay only a monthly or annual subscription per venue. Most restaurants we work with land in the range of 90 to 150 EUR per month for a fully configured Patrono with connection to your existing POS and delivery platforms.

FAQ

Most-asked questions from venue owners.

Can we use our existing hardware?

Yes. Patrono runs in the browser on any device you already have, Android or iOS, laptop or tablet. No new terminal required. For receipt printing we support every standard ESC/POS model you most likely already have behind the bar.

What if we already use POS Sector or another system?

We import your menu and item list from a CSV or export from your current system, and our team walks you through onboarding so you do not lose time. Direct integration with POS Sector is in preparation; we will announce when it goes live.

How long does setup take?

Papoy Munch & Brunch was fully functional in one working day. From menu import to the first fiscalized order took less than 6 hours. A larger restaurant with a complex menu can take a day or two longer, but that is the exception, not the rule.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Fiscalization stays the responsibility of your POS, which handles it through its own mechanism. Patrono syncs once the connection returns, with no loss of data entered in between.

How does Fiscalization 2.0 work with Patrono?

Patrono does not fiscalize receipts itself. It connects to your existing POS, which already does that under Croatian law. Your fiscal system stays the same, Patrono reads revenue data from it and pushes it into the overview for owner and shift manager. Fiscalization 2.0 changes are applied by your POS vendor, not Patrono.

Who do we contact when we need help?

Email podrska@getpatrono.com. We respond within 24 hours, every day of the week. Mail goes straight to the team, not to a ticket system that bounces you through two support tiers before a real answer.

How does Patrono calculate food cost?

Food cost is calculated from real ingredient consumption defined in the recipe, not from estimates. For each portion sold, the exact quantity of each ingredient is deducted from stock. Supplier prices flow in through invoices, so the margin on every dish stays accurate even when the price of flour jumps on Saturday and you only learn about it on Monday.

Does Patrono support HACCP under AZRRI guidelines?

Yes. Daily temperature logs for refrigerators and freezers, goods receiving, thermal processing and cleaning are set up using the AZRRI templates inspectors look for during a visit. Records are signed in the app and archived in the system, with no folders of paper.

What about delivery platforms, how does it all fit together?

Revenue and commissions from delivery platforms arrive in the same overview as in-venue sales, separated by channel. You see how much you actually earn per platform after commissions, and when the same item on three platforms ends up with three different margins.

How much does Patrono cost?

Setup and onboarding are free, you only pay a monthly or annual subscription per venue. Most venues land in the 90 to 150 EUR per month range for a fully configured Patrono with all modules. The annual option includes a discount. We send a concrete quote within one working day.

Do I have to sign a yearly contract?

No. The monthly option has no commitment. You cancel any time with full data export in machine-readable format. The annual option is a choice if you want a fixed cost with a discount, not a forced condition.

Who has access to our data?

Only users you add to the organization, with the role you assign. A waiter does not see food cost, the shift manager does not see contracts, the bookkeeper does not see schedules. Our support team accesses your data only with your explicit permission, for a specific case.

Where is the data stored?

All infrastructure is inside the European Union, databases in EU regions, encrypted at rest and in transit. Daily backups with 30-day retention, weekly snapshots with 12-month retention. Details and the subprocessor list are on the Security and GDPR page.

Can I export all my data if we leave?

Yes, at any time. Patrono offers full export of menus, schedules, revenue, HACCP records and invoices in machine-readable formats (CSV and JSON). No data retention clauses, no buyback fees, no hidden costs on termination.

Does Patrono work for multiple locations or franchises?

Yes, from day one. Multiple venues sit under the same organization, recipes and procedures stay unified across locations, and a central overview shows where one location is drifting. Networks of 4 or more venues get a dedicated quote.
