Where we come from
We worked for years inside hospitality operations.
Behind Patrono is a team with over 15 years of experience in hospitality and delivery. Patrono came out of our own needs in the venue we run, and we use it every day in real operations. Every module on this site solves a problem we have personally hit, on shift or at the manager’s desk.
On the floor
We have worked every role that exists in a restaurant, from running the bar and serving tables to managing shifts. Most problems Patrono solves we saw before they became a feature request.
Inside delivery platforms
Part of the team worked at one of the largest delivery platforms in Croatia, covering major cities and thousands of restaurants. We know how menus are set up, how commissions are read, and why the same dish on three platforms ends up with three different margins.
Multiple locations and chains
We worked across multi-venue networks, where the hardest part is keeping the same standard at every location. That is why Patrono works with multiple venues under one organization from day one, so recipes, prices and procedures stay unified no matter how many locations you open.
Why Patrono exists
The same gaps in operations kept coming back every week.
Every restaurant we worked in ran on five different Excel files. Scheduling in WhatsApp, HACCP on paper, invoices in email, food cost reviewed monthly in the best case. A tool that would put it all in one place either did not exist, or cost more than the problem it was meant to solve.
Opening our own venue put us on the owner side and we hit the same problem from a third angle. We started writing Patrono for ourselves, to stop losing Sundays in Excel, and kept developing it once it became clear the problem was not only ours.
Today Patrono is a tool we build and use at the same time. Feature priority follows what we actually need in the kitchen or at the bar, not what sounds better in a sales document.
How we work

Croatian regulation built in
We build Patrono for restaurants that operate under Croatian rules. Fiscalization, HACCP, contracts, health certificates and other essential data are part of the product from day one.
Small team, direct line
No ticket system, no automated replies. When you write to support, the team building the product responds. Your feedback goes straight into the next release.
One tool instead of five
We have seen too many restaurants change three scheduling tools and two food cost trackers in a single year, none of which talk to each other. Patrono is the opposite move.
