Patrono

Comparison

Patrono and POS Sector: what each one does best.

POS Sector is a point-of-sale. Patrono is the operational layer above the POS. This is not a comparison of which is the better POS, it is what each tool does well and how they fit together.

Pros

What POS Sector does and Patrono does not

  • Issuing and fiscalizing receipts under Croatian law
  • Live table and order management in the venue
  • Hardware: till, terminal, fiscal printer
  • Fiscalization 2.0 changes inside the receipt flow

Cons

Where the POS alone is not enough

  • Combined view of in-venue and delivery platforms with real margin after commissions
  • Food cost per dish with recipes and automatic calculation after a sourcing price change
  • HACCP records under AZRRI templates
  • Staff scheduling, contracts, health certificates
  • Monthly view for the bookkeeper in a single export

What Patrono does differently

Patrono reads from POS Sector

Revenue, items and sales channels come from the POS. The POS handles fiscalization, Patrono builds the overview on top of the data.

Integration in preparation

Direct integration with POS Sector is on the roadmap. Until then, migration runs through CSV and menu export, which covers most cases in one afternoon.

No migration pain

You do not leave POS Sector, you do not change the till, you do not interrupt service. Patrono is added on the side, owner and shift manager get a new overview, and the floor team keeps working the same way.

Together they cover more ground

If you already have POS Sector and you are looking for an operations tool, Patrono is complementary, not a replacement.
